Full body, structure, concentration, ripe fruit, spicy. Balanced and long life. Very small quantity produced just in top vintages.

The grapes are hand-picked, then gently pressed and fermented at 25° to 26°C. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, with skin contact for 20-25 days. The wine is then aged in mid-toasted French oak for three years: 70% in 20 to 50 hectolitre casks; 30% in barriques.

Greets the eye with a deeep purplish red. The nose is remarkably rich and multi-faceted, with aromas of sour cherry, raspberry and dried plum and spicy impressions of black pepper, vanilla, cocoa powder and espresso bean. Clean, vibrant acidity and silky well integrated tannins.

The vine of this pure Sangiovese wine are carefully selected and harvested. In an ideal height, drained soils and directed to the south west, these old vines deliver a wine with a special character. It has a big structure and refinement, elegant, well balanced and intensive flavor.

Allegrini Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico is produced from ripe grapes that have been left to dry before vinification, this rich, suave wine features port-like aromas and flavors of chocolate, cherry, spice and smoky plum. Green pear, ripe citrus and juicy peach on the nose of this wine have just a touch of honeysuckle. The off-dry palate majors in the exuberance of this fruit that is made clean and precise by freshness. It’s a fruity, bright and welcoming wine.
